Why Rebounding?

I started rebounding in 1990. At that time, I lost my grandmother and requested the rebounder that she used in memory of her.  I always grinned at the fact that my grandmother used a rebounder, and I honestly think I thought of it as "old people exercise".

That is, until I started doing it.

I would come home after work, drink some water, get my exercise clothes and headset on, and head to my living room alcove where I placed my grandmother's rebounder in the turret area.  Then...I'd hop on and bounce to music for 20-30 minutes.  Honestly, it was fun!  I let it replace my running several days a week and I started to notice some incredible benefits...

My joints didn't hurt anymore, my clothes fit better, I lost weight, I felt firmer, and I had more energy.

I figured this could not have come from something as simple as using a rebounder every day, but I didn't give it a lot of thought since life was busy and I was enjoying my new routine.
Once people started telling me I looked great, and what was I doing, I started to realize that this simple fun activity (rebounding) that I did every day was the only thing I had changed in my life -- and it made enough of a difference that others were beginning to notice!

What's interesting is that when I share that - people don't take it seriously.

Really! They don't. I can only think of a few people that decided to purchase a rebounder as a result of what I shared even though they saw the evidence and changes as they happened.
Over the last year I've thought about creating a site about rebouding, rebounding benefits, and my opinion on the best rebounders available, but I didn't get around to creating it until now.

Why now?

Because I can't get it out of my mind. Because times are tough, and I know several people that have cancelled their gym memberships.  Rebounding is VERY reasonable (a good rebounder will only cost you approximately a 2 month gym membership), you don't have to go out to do it (no excuses there!), it's fun, and it will benefit you (imho) more than exercising at a gym.

I love rebounding, I believe in it, I've experienced the benefits and now I'm on a mission to share that will as many people as possible.

Starting now. :)
